Moong dal (small yellow lentil) pakodas.





Moong dal - 1 cup ( soaked for 2 hrs )

Onion -1/2 ( finely chopped )

Spring onion -2 ( finely chopped )

Ginger garlic paste - 1 1/2 tsp

Spinach - 11/2 cups ( finely chopped )


Cumin powder -1/2tsp

Coriander powder - 1/2tsp

Ajwain - 1/2 tsp

Salt - to taste

Black pepper - to taste

Asafoetida - a pinch


Drain the dal and grind it to a thick paste. Mix all the above into the dal paste and get ready to fry.


Scoop with a spoon and place it into the heated oil. Make sure it is brown on both sides before you are ready to it ......devour it on a rainy day.
